Sharp Smart Remote App Reviews

Sharp Aquos (LC-60LE657U) and iPhone are both connected to the same network, but the app says that no tvs are found on the network. Im not deleting it yet since this is the only app with that offers a querty keyboard, and I suspect/hope that an update will correct this problem. Developers, if you have any tips, please let me know! Youve obviously put in a lot of work on this, and I cant wait to give this app 5 stars!

My LC-70LE650U is connected to WiFi, and even works with the Sharp Beam app, but does not show up with this app. I even went into the TV settings and enabled everything. Also read the manual. Even if it did work, the UI design in this app seems outdated and limited. Really disappointed. Expected more from sharp, but they appear to be operating on a 10 year delay.

I have a new 60" aquos on my home network and the app simply can not find the tv. I really hope this app is fixed and updated soon. In its current state its completly useless

Recommended by Sharp, but wont even discover the TV. Not sure if updated for new 2013 models. Anyone get this to work?

Just got the new Sharp 7 Series LED 60" TV (Dual Core Processor Model). Enabled everything on the TV for IP control but this app does not see it. Really would like to use this as typing with the included remote is laborious! Please fix Sharp, we need this app!

Like most of the reviews here, I also have the same connection to my phone an tv and it cant find it! They should delete this stupid app!

Dont waste your time.

Doesnt recognize my tv just like all the rest of the reviews. I have 70" bought it 3 months ago.

Does this app even work? This would be an awesome app if it worked. Are you going to explain why it doesnt work or what needs to be done for it to work?

It worked up until the new update last month. Now both my iPhone and sharp tv are on the same network but it will not discover TV on app. Waiting for another update that will correct the issue because it worked great for a while. Please contact me if you have any suggestions on what I may do to repair the issues Im experiencing.

Cant find TV. I have looked at multiple iPhone Apps and none work. Sharp needs to get on the ball here.
